To Our Children Section

The Board of Directors of the TOMA Foundation for Burned Children is presently comprised of the following members:

Mr. GillesMercier President and CEO shares day to day operational responsibilities with other members of the Foundation. He is primarily responsible for the Foundation's online (internet website) presence and media facets. He is one of the two co-founders and has been involved with TOMA for over twenty years.

Mrs. Sylvie Giroux has been an involved administrator with the Foundation for almost 20 years and is ideally suited to assist the President in his daily functions.

Mrs. Coumba Faye was asked to take over the treasury and controller`s duties vacated by François Sourdif`s passing as well as Bernard Balzac 's departure.

Ms. Tamara-Vina Henderson has been a TOMA volunteer for several years now and has organised several sucessful fund raising events. She, herself, is a burn victim who still has multiple surgeries per year. Some surgeries involve 7-8 to make up just one surgery.  Tamara has over 36 years of undergoing surgeries and knows firsthand what these children go through day in and day out and what they will have to go through for years to come!  She lives in Northern Ontario, has represented the Foundation at several events and has a deep passion for TOMA

Mr. Louis Turcot is a retired businessman who brings a weath of business experience to the Foundation.

Mr. Paul Duzyk is also a retired businessman who will also bring a great deal of business experience to the Foundation.

The Board members meet monthly or as required to attend to Foundation business.
